Bluebird Day - Kokanee Cottage

My friend and I rented this 2 bedroom house for one week. We were in Bend for 7 days of hiking. It was perfect for our needs and totally met our expectations, and even more. The excellent location is central to restaurants, services, and shopping. When I saw the photos on line, I thought Wow this property is exactly what we need: good location, comfortable spaces and decor. I booked it immediately! We werent disappointed! In fact, the amenities were better than we had expected: first rate bed linens, lovely dishes, complete kitchen necessities and extras, like plastic wrap, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, etc. Everything was immaculate too. The parking and garage were an extra nice features. In addition, the management was easy to contact and had a fast response. Overall, we felt like it was our own comfy cottage. We highly recommend this cozy, well-equipped house!

Kokanee Cottage was a great place to stay in Bend. The place was very clean and the kitchen equipped enough for us to cook dinner for a guest. The location is excellent - an 8 minute walk to the river through Columbia Park and a 5 minute walk to restaurants and brew pubs. A very nice, well-equipped house to stay in. Well come back, for sure.

We stayed 10 days on this visit and 11 days last august. Comfortable home, great location and the garage to safely store our bikes is a huge plus. Walk or bike to Safeway, 10 barrel, el Sancho, old mill, Drake park and downtown, etc. Never drive anywhere when we stay here. Comfortable beds, great heating/cooling system. Highly recommended.

What a great little house and even more perfect location! Walkable to all the things we needed and wanted to do, no need for a rental car during our visit made it easy and efficient. Would love to come back!

The house was in a great location within walking distance of many amenities. It was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed on our trip. We would definitely stay again.

The Kokanee Cottage was perfect for our visit to Bend. It is close to an eclectic shopping center with restaurants, groceries, coffee shops and an eclectic mix of lounges, a performing venue and local craft beer, wine and distilleries. We rode bikes 10 min into downtown or one could walk in about 20-30 min. Bend was fantastic with many things to do outdoors and indoors, highly recommended to work with Bluebird Day as they are true professionals and very responsive. The house is well maintained and renovated has everything you might need, and if something is missing call Bluebird and they will address any issues that might arise.

We stayed for 10 days at this property over Thanksgiving and had a wonderful visit. The place was clean and quiet and well equipped with all we needed. The house is within 5-7 minutes walking distance through a quiet neighborhood of a number of restaurants and coffee shops. In another direction, it is about a 15 minute walk to the old mill district. So this is a great location. The service on the property was top notch. There was a minor issue we needed to have addressed, and the response was quick. Seeing the property I now understand that if you have a larger group, you can also book an adjoining property, so there is flexibility for that. The kitchen was really well equipped for cooking, and one night we served dinner for a group and found all we needed. Overall a wonderful place to stay.

We were very pleased with our stay at Kokanee House. It was super clean, well stocked with towels, kitchen utensils and bedding. The neighborhood was really quiet and close to coffee shops, restaurants and shopping. They were very responsive when we had any questions. Well look to stay there in the future.

This is a great house on the south western side of Bend. It is very clean and well equipped for most needs. The new attached garage is awesome for storing your car, bikes, or other gear. It is an easy bike ride from the house to almost every area in Bend. I cant say enough about Bluebird Day that manages the house. They are very quick to reply to any message or concern during your stay.

Wonderful and quaint. Perfect for a weekend getaway. Kitchen is well stocked for staying in and there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance if you want to go out. It was nice to have two points of entry to the house as we were on the mountain all day so entering through the mudroom was ideal for taking off dirty boots and clothes. We will be back!

We had a great stay here and would definitely come back again. A great location, great layout of the house, and it was very clean. The towels were really nice and there were a bunch of extra towels and sheets available. We appreciated the attached garage with a tall garage door (we were able to pull our SUV with a roof top carrier inside which was so convenient for unloading and loading).

The Kokanee Cottage was the perfect place for my family of four. The house was clean, well organized, extremely comfortable and central to everything we wanted to do and see. We came to Bend, OR to attend a concert at the Les Schwab Amphitheater, which was about a 12-15 minute walk from the Kokanee Cottage. There were great eateries and coffee shops in every direction, and again within walking distance. The central location of this rental made it the perfect place to stay and be able to get out to see the area. Absolutely loved this rental and loved Bend, so we will be back. Thank you!

We could not have lucked out to get a better spot for a weekend getaway, but Kokanee Cottage would work for a much longer stay, as well. It has everything, including the perfect Westside location. My daughter and I walked to dinner, became addicted to a nearby bakery/cafe (and the coffee roaster around the corner - after sampling it at the cottage). But we were there for a concert at the Les Schwab Amphitheatre...literal minutes away. Comfy and pristine in a quiet neighborhood - this is The. Place.

Clean, comfortable and quiet. Great location, close to the Deschutes River, restaurants, and coffee. A stones throw to GoodLife brewing too. This place had all we needed for a comfortable stay in Bend.

Awesome location and felt very homey. We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely recommend!!

You will not be disappointed. This roomy, comfortable, spacious home is situated on a quiet tree-lined street in a convenient neighborhood. We stayed there eight days in June. Its only a 20 minute walk to the Mill District on a lovely trail along the river. The cottage is within walking distance of to a fresh fruit and vegetable market and several pub style restaurants and a coffee shop/caf on Galvaston. On 14th you will find an independent coffee shop serving excellent pastries. Safeway and a Starbucks are a 5 minute drive. It is well equipped with an excellent heating and air conditioning system, a very efficient washer and dryer, lots of pots and pans and dishes. There is even a variety of spices for guests use. There is plenty of space to put your stuff. The enclosed garage keeps your car safe and clean or you can park it in the driveway. The management company is easy to work with and responsive to your needs and make sure the house is clean on your arrival.

We loved our stay. Its a great location on the West side, easily (and beautifully) walkable to downtown, Old Bend and other locations like walks along the river. The house was cute and everything was clean and tidy. 5/5 would stay again!

We throughly enjoyed our stay here! This home was as described and in a wonderful location which we could walk to the park and downtown for shopping, drinks and food. Clean, bright, full of amenities and a beautiful little neighborhood. :)

The Bluebird Day was the most perfect spot in Bend. We were close to all of the great spots. Everything was sparkling clean and they had great communication with us. Having the garage to store our bikes and charge our car was super duper! Definitely visiting again ASAP! Thank you Bluebird Day!

Very nice place. Everything so well maintain, clean, comfy beds, extra towels and sheets. Kitchen with all the essentials. Very well located. Close to markets, stores, restaurants:))). In a quiet neighborhood. And it has a great garage:))). I will defiantly stay here again!!

Amazing Airbnb, would definitely book again the next time Im in Bend. The house is spacious and has a garage spot. The kitchen is super well stocked with appliances and kitchenware, making meals super easy. The neighborhood is super quiet, but close to fun stuff in Bend. Highly recommend.

This is a very well equipped home in a terrific neighborhood. The communication was great, and the house was well stocked. The master bed was particularly comfortable. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.
