The host emailed me after checking in to make sure we had everything, and letting us know how to reach them if anything was needed. The house is absolutely perfect and well taken care of. The location is perfect. Walking/biking distance from everything. Would definitely recommend this house to anyone.

Great space, clean, garage for the mountain bikes, easy walk / bike to beer and food. Easy ride to Phils trails, great launching point for all adventures! Great house, great location!

I stayed here with my wife and boys (7 and 9) for four nights and felt that it wasnt enough. The house was perfect, and we played plenty of games of cornhole in the evening. With the great weather, gas grill and outdoor living, we only ate dinner out one night (did take advantage of the good breweries for lunch). You can easily walk to a food cart pod, breweries and other restaurants, or take a slightly longer walk and youre in the heart of downtown. Quiet neighborhood, perfect for a family vacation. Terrific shower in the master bath. The pictures accurately portray how nice the house is, but the kitchen appliances are better than one would expect. Awesome oven and silent dishwasher. Spend the money for this house; you wont regret it

My family stayed here recently and enjoyed the house immensely. It has a slightly modern feel reminiscent of Palm Springs, but still rooted in the warmth and spirit of Bend. Great flow between areas of the house too. Cannot recommend this place (or Bend for that matter) enough as it was absolutely perfect!

This was a delightful stay. The house is gorgeous and easy to feel at home in . The hottub was wonderful. House was clean and well stocked. The host was very interactive and checked-in to make sure we had all we needed. We slept 8 here without any issues. Location of the house is great (walk to 10 barrel!) Overall, we had a wonderful ski vacation in Bend and this house was the perfect spot to crash!

Four of us 60 something adults stayed five nights at the Sunnyside house and had a wonderful time. The home was clean and well maintained. Great decor and open floor plan. High end kitchen appliances and fixtures and lots of equipment. The outside living space was great too. We enjoyed eating on the patio and using the hot tub. 10 barrels brew pub was within easy walking distance which we much appreciated as we came to Bend to do the Ale Trail and enjoy the microbrews. Many nearby restaurants. We are geocachers and found that there were many places to explore within walking distance of the house. One sunny day was spent making the journey to Crater Lake which was amazing and a great day trip from the house. We would recommend the Sunnyside house to our friends and family. We recommend nearby Smith Rock State Park and the local River Rafting opportunities to the adventure seekers in the family. We imagine it would be a great place to stay during ski season also. My husband, 2 year old and I host an annual Sisters Rodeo Weekend gathering for our friends and had the opportunity to rent this amazing home. There were 3 couples in total (each with a 2 year old and one couple also with a new born). The kids stayed in the rooms with the adults and had plenty of space. What makes this gorgeous home so amazing is.... Location (free bikes in the garage or walk to absolutely anything), Layout (the bedroom are not right next to eachother so there is good privacy for each room), Outdoor living (the open floor plan of the kitchen the flows in a beautiful courtyard and the living room makes entertaining easy and enjoyable) and Decorating (modern and classic furniture with top line finishes). I cant say enough about this home. We have rented many homes in Bend and this is hands down the best. Of course the service at Blue Bird was also fantastic as they provided a back-up propaine tank in the garage for the BBQ and well stocked laundry, bathroom and kitchen

We spent 4 wonderful nights at this home in Bend, OR. No one in our party (6 people) had ever been to Bend, and we loved it! We will be back for sure! The house was perfect for all of us, so enjoyable, so nicely decorated and just lovely. It was close to everything that we needed and we quickly learned the town within a day or so. I am in a wheelchair and the master bedroom and master bathroom worked perfectly for me. My son loved the legos and the games as well. Thanks to the owners for sharing their beautiful home with us!

We just got home and I enjoyed the house so much that I wanted to take a moment to write a review. The home is very new, and has a really nice layout. Many rentals are a bit of a hodge-podge, but this home was incredibly well stocked, with every amenity. The Bluebird Day Vacation staff were responsive and very organized with the rental paperwork. I highly recommend this house, especially if you have younger kids. Mine really enjoyed the legos, toys, games, TV nook and the park within walking distance, while we enjoyed the nicely stocked kitchen, the great patio and the corn hole game.

My wife and went to Bend and were fortunate enough to find the Sunnyside house. The house was large and extremely comfortable for a relaxing vacation not to mention in a great location. We were able to easily walk(meander) to town. Plenty of great restaraunts and pubs steps away yet still a quiet neighborhood. Paige could not have made the booking process any easier and inviting. IT IS A MUST STAY HOUSE should it be available.

Our stay at this house was excellent. From the great layout to the hot tub and everything in between, you cant go wrong staying here. Close to some great restaurants, pubs and breweries as well. We will book this house every chance we get.

We just spent a week in Bend, staying at this house and it was wonderful! You can walk to amazing restaurants, and downtown is literally 3 minutes away by car. We enjoyed walking our dog around the neighborhood as well, very walkable and nice. The house is laid out very nicely, we had our two boys with us and there was plenty of room and the patio is perfect! You will love all the natural light that this house offers. We will be back!!

We are well-travelled and actually have our own VRBO rental so we have a wide range of experience when it comes to lodging. First, the location was perfect. We wanted to be walking distance to town (and a few of our favorite restaurants), which it was. Quiet and off the beaten path but totally accessible. Second, the house is so well laid out - was perfect for our stay. Grandparents got the master bath with private bathroom, we stayed in the room that had the shared bath with room for kids down hallway. The house is modern but warm, has all the needed supplies and the play area with legos and toys was a total bonus for the kids. The enclosed yard was perfect for our dog - the owners have thought through the details - quality towels and bedding, etc. I honestly cant think of any constructive feedback to leave because it was flawless stay - owner even checked in upon arrival, etc. Thanks so much - well be back!

We were in Bend for my sons wedding. We needed a welcoming "home base" that was convenient for folks staying all over the area for drop-ins and general wedding-related stuff. I cannot imagine a more perfect spot than the one we found at the Sunnyside House. Wonderful, open, welcoming space, beautifully appointed with every possible amenity. Cant recommend it highly enough

The house is beautiful! Placed, for easy access to excellent restaurants and trail system. I hate to write this review because we want to keep it a secret! Blue Bird does such a great job to make your stay be the best!!

What a beautiful house. It really felt like home. We enjoyed all the high-end finishes. Some of our highlights were visiting Crater Lake in October and luck-out with full sun and 60s. Loved walking to 10 Barrel Brewing Co. Took the Brew Bus Tour and highly recommend it. We enjoyed the hot tub and ate on the patio twice. We would definitely recommend this home to anyone wanting to come to Bend. One of the nicest houses we have ever rented! -- The Camens & The Dicksons, WA

Good friends summited South Sister on Friday and came back to a relaxing hot tub, dinner and a relaxing evening at the Sunnyside House. The accommodations were fantastic. This will be our new go-to rental when we visit Bend! -- Portland OR

My wife and I spent a lovely week here at the Sunnyside House. It was a working vacation for me, but my wife managed to hike up South Sister while I was was at my laptop enjoying the glorious light in the kitchen and living room.
